| Linux support | nobody has published this yet | Linux runs on this laptop. “● FreeDOS 2.0 ● Ubuntu Linux”h10032.www1.hp.com, checked 21 September 2026. |
| Soldered RAM | The RAM can be upgraded. “The processor cannot be replaced; it is soldered.”notebookcheck.net, checked 6 September 2026. | The RAM can be upgraded. “Only one of the two DIMM slots of the laptop is already occupied by 8 GB DDR3L-1600, forcing the memory controller to run in the potentially slower single-channel mode. Since the memory bandwidth mainly influences the performance of the integrated graphics unit, it is not a real drawback in this case - to the contrary, due to this design it is relatively easy to upgrade the EliteBook.”notebookcheck.net, checked 21 September 2026. |
| Screen quality | Reviewers rate this screen poorly. “Unfortunately, HP also repeats an HP typical weakness in this laptop: the screen. Buyers who pay over 1500 Euros (~$1724) for a laptop can expect an excellent display. However, it is not found here.”notebookcheck.net, checked 6 September 2026. | Reviewers rate this screen well. “When necessary the display, which is illuminated by an LED backlight, can shine with up to 294 cd/m². This allows using it even inside bright offices.”notebookcheck.net, checked 21 September 2026. |
