“Some features may not be supported on the system with Linux preload, including but not limited to Intel RST RAID, MIPI computer vision camera, WWAN, Human Presence Detection, etc.”psref.lenovo.com, iċċekkjat 6 September 2026.

“The ThinkPad E15 Gen 2, has one SODIMM slot for future RAM expansion, that supports up to 32GB of DDR4 memory, working at 3200MHz, and two M.2 PCIe x4 slots, one for 42mm, and one for 80mm drives.”laptopmedia.com, iċċekkjat 6 September 2026.

“In terms of memory – there is only one RAM SODIMM slot – a downgrade from the ThinkPad E590. Nevertheless, it supports up to 16GB of DDR4 memory working at 2666 MHz.”laptopmedia.com, iċċekkjat 6 September 2026.

“Lenovo ThinkPad E15 Gen 2’s IPS panel has a Full HD resolution, comfortable viewing angles, good contrast ratio, and a non-flickering backlight. Unfortunately, the display is a budget-level one, which means you get modest color coverage (about 51% of sRGB), and in this case –high nonuniformity of the luminance across the area of the screen.”laptopmedia.com, iċċekkjat 6 September 2026.

“Its disadvantages include poor color coverage and accuracy, and most notably – PWM usage, across all brightness levels, apart from the maximum.”laptopmedia.com, iċċekkjat 6 September 2026.
