“The AMD version of the laptop, from what I can gather from previous Lenovo responses and their page, is not technically certified to work with Linux in general, and the Intel version has only been tested with Ubuntu.”discussion.fedoraproject.org, pārbaudīts 17 September 2026.

“Some features may not be supported on the system with Linux preload, including but not limited to Intel® RST RAID, MIPI computer vision camera, WWAN, Human Presence Detection, etc.”psref.lenovo.com, pārbaudīts 27 October 2026.

“The inside of the bottom panel houses a socket for the SODIMMs and a thermal pad for the preinstalled SSD.”laptopmedia.com, pārbaudīts 17 September 2026.

“The ThinkPad E16 has two SODIMM slots, so you can fix this by adding a second 16GB stick (approximately $350-400 as memory prices have gone through the roof) to enable dual-channel mode.”laptopsexplained.com, pārbaudīts 27 October 2026.

“The 16-inch display with 1920 x 1200 resolution suffers from the same terrible colour coverage we criticized in the Lenovo ThinkBook 16 G8: just 45% NTSC (~62% sRGB).”laptopsexplained.com, pārbaudīts 27 October 2026.
